How to Setup on iPhone/iPad?
Posted by Max Biggavelli on 20 August 2011 06:56

Update 10.12.2013: The below described method is an old approach and not recommended anymore, better use our L2TP/IPsec instead here or our IKEv2 protocol.

First of all in order to install OpenVPN For iPhone, the device must be jailbroken.

A general video example of the quick Setup which counts for iPhone as well as the iPad, is available in our YouTube Channel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7BWE7_P3T4

Update: The built in browser in Guizmo doesnt save cookies so it doesnt bypass the captcha boundary to access the Members Area, so you cant simply download the config.

There's two possible workarounds: downloading the config with safari download manager and saving it to the GuizimoVPN config directory (/var/mobile/Documents/Configurations/(the name of the config)/) then unzipping it with iFile.

Or you can download the config on your computer, unzip it and use SSH to put it in the same directory, either works.

There's also this FAQ http://www.guizmovpn.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=7&Itemid=18

As described in the FAQ Article you should have a .zip file that contains the .crt, .ovpn + pass.txt with your Username and Password.
